California natives Sophie Buhai and Lisa Mayock debuted their line Vena Cava in 2003. It has always been about slightly vintage-feeling but never stuffy, staid, or dated wares. The collection had both thirties polish and seventies dreaminess; a fresh look which spins on vintage mixed with an arty palette.
